My new home was empty and garden not watered for about a week. Then we had about four or five days of 100-degree heat. I've been watering, but all the citrus trees -- in different spots of the yard -- still look like this. Help?

I snapped this (out-of-focus, sorry) photo of my 8-year-old son at practice for a BMX state qualifier race today. All the 20-30 times he hit this jump looked impressive in person, but did NOT look this high or scary. Probably because he was going was so fast.

If I actually realized my son was jumping this high on his bike it would totally freak me out.

So, um yeah. Freaked out.

The focus isn't the sharpest, but I like this pic. The little dude did a private training session tonight with local BMX pro Kory Cook. They were working on passing and turns when I shot this. This was actually the second of two photos I got of them in the air on this jump. Kory is a great rider and just came back from training at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista for a month. And, we found out tonight, he's our neighbor! Talk about small world.
